ABOUT ME
I’m interested in making the world of work a better place to be, and to that end, I develop, design and deliver training on engagement, information & consultation, diversity & inclusion and organisational culture. I also speak about these topics at various events.
I’ve worked for a wide variety of companies in the private, public and third sectors.

I’ve lived in London since 2008, and have worked extensively all around the UK, speaking about and developing, designing and delivering training on employee engagement, information & consultation, cross cultural awareness, unconscious bias and diversity awareness.
I’ve been directly involved in corporate change management and developing business strategy. Every project I have been involved with has examined the practical application of ideas.
I am an anthropologist (PhD from the University of New Mexico), which gives me a different spin on how I understand the corporate world. Did you know that lots of corporations use anthropologists? PepsiCo, Intel and Adidas are just a few of the big name businesses that like to have an anthropologist on board.
Before moving to London, I was a professor at the State University of New York, teaching cross cultural studies for international business majors.
The second edition of my book, Employee Engagement: a little book of big ideas, is available on Amazon. You can also read my column for HRZone.
